Marvel’s "Avengers: Age of Ultron" features 300 Hyperstealth Snow Camouflage Uniforms
(May 8, 2015, Vancouver, B.C.) Hyperstealth Biotechnology Corp. announces Marvel’s "Avengers: Age of Ultron" used 300 Hyperstealth Snow Camouflage uniforms.
Marvel approached Hyperstealth with the request and the film tested a number of Hyperstealth's snow camouflage variants before deciding on the version shown in the image on the right; a 3 color digital (pixelated) pattern called Juliet-11 from Hyperstealth's Deceptex line of over 600 camouflage patterns.
Hyperstealth has pioneered print on demand camouflage with their own digital Inkjet textile printers and were able to print the entire run in-house required by the studio for the 300 uniforms. A typical minimum run at a large textile printer company is 10,000 yards and can take a few weeks of screen preparation and color tweaking. Hyperstealth can produce their many patterns in 5 yard increments and the speed at which it is done is measured in hours. This is critical to the fast response needed for filming schedules.
